CD gracefully emerges as a refreshing new addition to the local Melbourne scene with a sound that invokes nostalgia, yet unearths evolving sounds. Known for her silky, angelic delivery, the soulstress has been described as smooth and sensual, as she mesmerises crowds with each performance. 

Hailing from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, CD has surrounded herself with like-minded individuals, including partner Agung Mango, with whom she had the opportunity to play at both Laneway and Golden Plains Festivals as a backing vocalist in his band. After spending some years collaborating and further developing her singing, songwriting and sound, CD draws upon both old and new school influences from RnB, Soul, Alternative RnB, Hip Hop, Spoken Word, Jazz, Neo-Soul and more to create her unique and honey-like sound.

Following the release of her latest single, the soulful 'Mr. M.I.A.,' CD has attracted the likes of many Triple J Unearthed hosts, receiving stellar reviews. Additionally, Acclaim Magazine, where she was interviewed for 'The New Locals'. More recently, CD was placed in the long list stage for Best Hip Hop Act for the Music Victoria Awards. Though she is still expanding her catalogue, she continues to achieve significant milestones, emphasising that she is one of Melbourne's most promising acts, and definitely not one to ignore. 2021 is looking bright for the young artist.
